Dibri

SSL monitoring for client websites

SSL certificate expiration monitoring

Keep certificate renewals on your radar. Dibri helps agencies, freelancers and developers spot expiring or invalid SSL certificates across the websites they maintain.

Free trial. No credit card required.

For teams maintaining client websites

Catch a renewal problem before a client reports it.

A client site may use automatic certificate renewal, but a hosting change or a missed renewal can still cause trouble. Add the client websites to Dibri, enable SSL checks and send warnings to the people responsible for maintenance.

Dibri monitors the certificate presented by the configured hostname and port. It does not renew certificates or change your hosting settings.

What the SSL check covers

✓

Certificate dates

See when the certificate becomes valid, when it expires and how much time remains. Warning and critical thresholds can be calculated from its lifetime or set in days.

✓

Trust and hostname

Dibri attempts a TLS connection with certificate chain and peer-name verification, then checks whether the certificate names match the configured hostname.

✓

Details and run history

Review the issuer, certificate names, validity dates and each saved result in the check details. SSL checks run separately from multi-location HTTP availability checks.

From signup to the first SSL check

Set up SSL monitoring in four steps

  1. 01

    Create your account

Register and confirm your email to open the client dashboard. No payment card is required to start the trial.

  2. 02

    Add the website

In Sites, add the website Name and URL. Keep SSL certificate selected under Enabled services, then save. Dibri creates the SSL check with a daily schedule.

  3. 03

    Review the SSL settings

Open the website checks and edit SSL certificate to review Hostname, Port and Interval. Leave Warning threshold (days) and Critical threshold (days) blank for automatic thresholds, or set both.

  4. 04

    Connect your alerts

Open Notification channels, add an email channel or connect Telegram, and send a test notification. Use Run now on the SSL check and review its saved result.

Warnings, incidents and renewals

Understand what needs attention

Expiring soon: a warning

A valid certificate approaching expiry produces WARNING, including at the critical expiry threshold. This alone does not open a DOWN incident. Dibri sends a reminder when the check enters warning or escalates to critical, rather than on every run.

Invalid certificate: a failure

An expired, not-yet-valid, untrusted or mismatched certificate fails the SSL check. Consecutive failed runs can open an incident; confirmed recovery closes it. Enabled email and Telegram channels receive incident and recovery alerts.

SSL expiry is not domain expiry

Renewing a certificate does not renew the domain registration. Dibri has a separate Domain expiration check that uses registry data where available. Track both dates when maintaining client websites.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about SSL certificate monitoring

When will I receive an expiration warning?

On a scheduled or manual run that first detects the warning threshold, and again if the result escalates to critical. Timing depends on the check interval and thresholds. Reminders are deduplicated for each certificate expiry date, severity and notification channel.

Can I monitor a certificate that renews automatically?

Yes. Dibri reads the certificate currently presented by the server. A later expiry date after renewal starts a new reminder cycle. Monitoring does not replace the renewal process.

Is this a full TLS security audit?

No. This check covers certificate dates, TLS trust verification and hostname matching. It does not provide a full chain report, test every protocol or cipher, or audit the website application.

Do I need a credit card?

No. You can start the trial without a payment method.
